SUSTAINABLE SWIM WEEK INTL MIAMI S2WIM.COM

MAY 28 – JUNE 2ND 2026

Sustainable Swim Week International Miami (S2WIM)

The future of fashion is fast-approaching, and it’s trading “fast fashion” for deep-blue consciousness. Sustainable Swim Week International Miami (S2WIM) is officially returning from May 28 to June 2, 2026, turning the sands of South Beach into a global hub for eco-innovation.

If you’re ready to see how the industry is saving the oceans while dressing the world, here is your insider guide to what’s happening at S2WIM.com.

What is Sustainable Swim Week?

While Miami Swim Week is a massive umbrella of events, S2WIM (Sustainable Swimwear Week International Miami) is the heartbeat of the “green” movement within it. Produced in association with Planet Fashion TV and the Into the Light wellness series, this specific week focuses on:

  • Upcycled Collections: Designers breathing new life into recycled ocean plastics and discarded fishing nets.
  • Ethical Production: Highlighting brands that prioritize fair wages and low-impact manufacturing.
  • The “Runway to Rack” Concept: A unique approach where attendees can shop the looks immediately through the PopUpsss™ activations.

 2026 Event Highlights

The 2026 edition promises to be the most immersive yet, blending high-octane runway shows with soulful wellness retreats.

1. The Over-the-Pool Runway

Hosted at the iconic Plymouth Hotel, the evening presentations are legendary. Expect to see “reveals” from international labels like Inri, One Collection, and Sweet Penelope as models glide across transparent platforms over the water.

2. Into the Light Lounge & Retreat

Located near the Bass Museum, this is the official sanctuary for the fashion weary. Between May 29 and June 3, you can find:

  • Health & Optimal Wellness Activations: Deep-sea hydration stations and cellular-level wellness treatments.
  • Fine Art Exhibits: Featuring luminescent sculptures by LuxArt and works by Peter Studl.
  • The Club Debut Production Center: A look behind the curtain at how sustainable garments are actually made.

3. “Game On!” Retro Arcade

In a witty twist on the traditional fashion lounge, 2026 will feature a retro-arcade experience by Bandai Namco. It’s the perfect spot to “sip and savor” small-batch gourmet coffee while taking a break from the flashbulbs.

Why It Matters

The swimwear industry has historically faced criticism for its environmental footprint. S2WIM is directly correcting this narrative. By showcasing designers who use ECONYL® and Yamamoto limestone neoprene, the event proves that luxury doesn’t have to come at the expense of our reefs.

“True luxury is a reflection of identity, and sustainability is not a trend—it’s a responsibility.” — S2WIM Philosophy
